Marks of Sanctification

In ICC25 from specific bosses Marks of Sanctification drop, these upgrade your 251 tier 10 into 264 tier 10.25. These are clearly going to be hot items. As a guild we have decided upon a specific system for these. They will be rolled for just like any other piece of gear, adhering to the exclusionary rule that if you have not had proper attendance or if you have already gotten a drop that night you will be ineligible for them. There is one special exception to this. The marks require that you have a piece of t10 to upgrade to 10.25, we know that not all buy t10 because a) they have better or b) its not worth it until its a 264. So we will not require guildies to show that they have a piece of t10, however the gear should go to who can use it the soonest to benefit the guild. That being said if you take a mark from a raid night and have not bought and/or upgraded your t10 into 10.25 you will be considered to have stolen from the guild and shall have to pay the consequences. Our reasoning for this is simple. It is all about how fast emblems of frost can be generated. We have downed up to and including festergut in our first week of being a guild so out of our weekly 10man alone you should accumulate 10 emblems of frost, then on a typical icc25 you should at least be able to down up to and including deathbringer saurfang, resulting in another 12 emblems. Combine this with the weekly raid quest(5 emblems), the possible weekly quest in icc(5 emblems), the emblems from Toravon in VoA(5 emblems if both difficulties done), and the 14 you can get from doing your random dailies that comes to a grand total of 51 possible emblems a week doing no better than we did in our first week of being a guild. I can understand if you pugged icc or couldn't make it to raids etc, but you should think of this ahead of time. If you do not believe you will have the necessary 60 emblems for shoulder/hands or 95 emblems for chest/helm/legs by the next raid lockout period, you should not roll on the mark. Of course there will be exceptions such as "I could've got my 95 emblems but my comcast cut out on me all weekend" and these will be judged on a case by case basis and officers shall determine sincerity regarding these issues.
